Sailing Club Divers teach exclusively PADI courses but we welcome divers from all certification agencies worldwide. If you are NAUI, CEDIP, FFESSM, CMAS, SSI, BSAC, SDI, IANTD, ANDI or TDI certified you are welcome at Sailing Club Divers. Diving in Nha Trang Bay (voted one of the twenty nine most beautiful bays in the world) is year round with the main dive season from March until late October. The best time to come is between May & the end of September when visibility may be up to 30 meters and the water temperature around 30c.

Our daily dive trips start with collection from your hotel or our main office at 8.00a.m. and transport to our purpose built 18 meter dive boat at the local port of Cau Da. From the port it takes 45 minutes to our first dive site or 15 minutes by speedboat. Our dive boat is equipped with permanent oxygen cylinder, DAN oxygen kit, First Aid Kit, fresh water shower, western (seated) toilet, galley and storage racks for your belongings. All of our staff are Emergency First Responders and are DAN oxygen providers. PADI professionals with dive computers lead all dives.

The marine life in Nha Trang Bay is very diverse and many fishes, corals and Nudibranchs unique to the South China Sea can regularly be seen here. Manta Rays and shy Turtles have been sighted along with small Reef Sharks. During October 2003 and November 2004 Whale Sharks were seen between Hon Mot and Hon Tre and at South Bay, Hon Mun. Although the coral is not as world-renowned as the Red Sea in Egypt or the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, a recent survey found over 350 species of hard and soft corals, nearly 50% of the corals in the world and we consider them the very best in the East Sea. Night dives are available from the beach opposite our main office on request, where different marine life can be seen, such as Tiger Prawns, Mimic Octopus, Crocodile Snake Eels, Squid, Boxfish and Rays. DIVE SITES OF HON MUN MARINE PROTECTED AREA

Moray Beach - Superb quality hard and soft coral reef with sloping wall, 2 resident Giant Moray Eels, Honeycomb, White eyed and White mouthed Moray Eels, Lionfish, Flying Gurnard, Clownfish, Sea Horses, Anglerfish and Sea Pens. Ideal for divers of all certification levels. Maximum depth of 18 meters.

Tri Minh's Treat - Superb hard coral reef on a gentle sloping wall with a sandy bottom, discovered and named after Vietnam's most famous local diver - our very own - Minh Tri Nguyen Ha. Nudibranchs, Pufferfish, Scorpionfish, Lionfish and plenty of Macro life. Maximium depth of 12 meters

Crab Claw - Deep coral/rocky reef North of Moray beach teeming with fish life and many Nudibranchs. Maximum depth of 22 meters.

Corner Bar - Our secret! Named after Sihanoukville's most famous bar. Hard corals, macro life, Seahorses, Nudibranchs & Flatworms. Maximum depth of 10 meters.

The Big Coral Garden / South Reef - Probably the best quality hard coral reef in Nha Trang Bay, Table Corals, Gorgonians, Nudibranchs, Pufferfish, Moorish Idols and Batfish. Hard corals from 2 – 14 meters. Maximum depth of 23 meters.

South Bay / Small Wall / Fishermans Bay - Excellent dive site in a sheltered bay, hard corals everywhere, Red Tooth and Titan Triggerfish, Barracuda, Snake Eels, Fusiliers, Snappers, Emperors, Seahorses. Maximum depth of 25 meters.

Birds Nest Bay / Boom Boom Bay - Mushroom Corals, Cuttlefish, Batfish and unique rock formations. Maximum depth of 20 meters.

Goat Rock & Tiger Wall - Dramatic wall dive, straight down to a sandy bottom at 30 meters, Ideal for Deep Specialty training or Advanced Open Water Deep dive. Lionfish, Moray Eels, Tiger Cowries, Grouper and Angelfish. Maximum depth of 38 meters.

Black Tunnel - Swim through at 17 meters, Moray Eels, Nudibranch, Rays and Scorpionfish.

Bob’s House - Unique rock formations, passages and swim throughs, Cave Sweepers, Flat Worms, Squid, Cuttlefish, Boxfish, Filefish. Maximum depth of 15 meters.

PADI Beach / Mama Hanh Beach - Ideal Open Water training site with large sandy area and sheltered from surge. Hard and soft corals, Zebra and Leopard Moray Eels, Ghost Pipefish, Lionfish and many small reef fish. Maximum depth of 15 meters.

DIVE SITES OF HON ROM

Octopus Rock / Razor's Edge / Magic Roundabout / Cloud 9 - Swim throughs, caves and tunnels, Hard and Soft corals, Octopus, Barracuda, Unicornfish, Surgeonfish, Cobia, Rays. Ideal dive site for Deep, Multi Level and Peak Performance Buoyancy dives. Maximum depth of 28 meters.
